Hi, my name is Keith Brown, and this is my wife Trish. We've been clients of Fortitude for almost five years and our adviser is Richard Peters.

We didn't know anything about finance and were always a bit hesitant to go anywhere near finance companies. So, to get a recommendation from a friend was a really good thing for us and it was me pushing Keith to say “Make the phone call, we need to do it. Let's see how long we need to carry on working for.” We had both had enough in our roles, having worked for a company for a very long time, and we wanted to see what the future could bring.

Fortitude has been able to help us with a lot of things, firstly by giving us the desire to retire. It wasn't long after we'd been meeting with Fortitude that it was evident that we could retire: being able to retire at 55 was the ideal scenario. As well as just retire, we wanted to help our daughters get on the property ladder and, if we could, retire in a motorhome to do a lot of traveling. We have two dogs and dog-friendly cottages get expensive, so motorhomes that could take the dogs away with us would be ideal. That's what we wanted to do, and Fortitude helped us achieve that.

Working with Richard and the team at Fortitude over the last five years has been amazing. It's taken away all of that worry and pressure. We don't have to constantly track all our money, as we have somebody who’s doing it on our behalf. They're a really friendly group of people.
